Volley Ball

Hey guys, I wrote this post along time ago, but I just published. So keep in mind that some of the information is from a couple weeks ago.

I first wanted to write this post because I am on the girls Volley Ball team at my school and have been log post on Volley Ball by Gabi.

I signed up for the Volley Ball team in mid October. I have really been loving it. I love how all my teammates are so supportive. Last game I had to serve a couple times and I am NOT the best at that, but everyone was cheering one another on. There are a few girls that have a lot more experience than I do and a lot more than a lot of other girls on the team. They are always encouraging, giving tips, making jokes, and making sure the vibe of “Don’t sweat it” is always in place.

One of the other things that is great about our team is the different skill sets we have. Not everyone is great at the same thing, which really is helpful. We all get equal opportunities to be playing, and I find that very important. We have a relatively small team so you aren’t on the bench for very long and when you’re, cheering your team on.

Thanks for reading! I probably will write another post on Volley Ball in the near future, more about the skills. I hope the best for the team and am sorry I can’t be there this week! Have a great day!

    Hi Olivia,
This is a really good way to describe how our team works and how you see volley ball. I love to play volley ball and I wish that it wasn’t ending but that means BASKETBALL . Are you going to be playing basketball this year ? If so I will be very glad to have you on my team.
    Have a turtle-filled day:)
    Sincerely Chloe

      Hey Chloe!
I loved playing volleyball this year! And you and all the other girls made so much more enjoyable. So sad that it is ending :(. I loved love to sigh up for basketball, but they are only opening it up to grade 7’s and not the 6′ unless they don’t have enough players, but I am crossing my fingers! Great to here from you and thanks for the comment!
      Have a wonderful day!
      Olivia!

I love this post Olivia! I was the volleyball captain of our school’s volleyball team and I can honestly say that being on a team was one of the best times of my short life! It’s beautiful how with all of each players differences, they can team up and create an amazing performance! Hope you guys won a lot of games!

Hi Olivia! My name is Erika and I am a college student at Stockton University in Pomona, NJ. I read your article on volleyball and thought it was well written and showed passion about the sport. My school when I was younger did not have a volleyball team. However, in the summer I use to play in a beach volleyball league. I think it is a great that you are involved in sports. I played soccer my whole life and I am actually a high school girls soccer coach. I felt that it was awesome how you touched base on your last game, how some of your serves were not the best, but everyone kept cheering each other on. It is important that we do not dwell on our mistakes. It is great to see that everyone was staying positive. The best thing to do is to learn from our mistakes and guess what….everyone makes mistakes. So, keep that head up take what you can out of each situation and see where you can practice. With the passion I can see you have about volleyball in your writing that you will keep improving and be the amazing player that you are. Thanks for the great read, I really enjoyed it!

      Hi Erika,
First of thanks so much for the comment. It was really cool to get a comment from someone who is in collage and coaches a sport. I really did enjoy volleyball. I was so sad when the season ended. But now I have started playing basketball and I am loving it to! Luckily, I still have another year at my school before I go to high-school so I have the opportunity to figure out what I want to do more of. Thank you so much for commenting! Hope to hear from you again!
